Project summary

The Hare Krishna Golden Temple Garbha Griha renovation reimagines the temple’s most sacred space by enhancing its spiritual ambience while remaining deeply rooted in traditional Vaishnava design principles.

The project sought to revive the sanctum’s spiritual essence by redesigning the Garbha Griha with greater visual prominence, symbolism and devotional richness. The objective was to create a timeless sacred interior that honours Gaudiya Vaishnava traditions while improving the spatial experience for devotees and reinforcing the divine presence of Sri Sri Radha Krishna.

The redesign introduces an elaborate carved wooden shrine enriched with gold detailing, fluted pillars and lotus-inspired motifs that celebrate classical temple architecture. Carefully designed lighting, layered floral arrangements and ornamental framing reinforce the sanctity of the Garbha Griha, while every decorative element draws inspiration from Gaudiya Vaishnava symbolism to create a spiritually immersive experience.
