Project summary

Jayshree Residence is a thoughtfully crafted home that celebrates the family’s Rajasthani heritage through a contemporary design language. Balancing modern functionality with timeless traditions, the interiors weave together natural materials, handcrafted details and warm colours to create a home that feels elegant, welcoming and deeply personal.

Located in one of Hyderabad’s established neighbourhoods, this 3,000 sq.ft. apartment was designed for a young family seeking a home that reflected both their modern lifestyle and strong cultural roots. The design brief called for interiors that celebrated individual personalities while maintaining a cohesive aesthetic inspired by the warmth and richness of Rajasthan.

Design challenge and response

The interiors combine clean contemporary planning with carefully curated ethnic elements including textured stone walls, reclaimed wood finishes, colourful handcrafted fabrics and traditional decorative accents. Open visual connections between living, dining and kitchen spaces create a sense of spaciousness, while the landscaped terrace extends the living experience outdoors. Feature ceilings, custom furniture and layered lighting reinforce the home’s warm, inviting atmosphere without compromising functionality
